Missions Education Volunteers |

Alabama WMU recruits and trains
women and men to assist WMU leadership in churches and associations to be
the best leaders possible. Chosen for their expertise in various areas,
Missions Education Volunteers (MEVs) are available to speak,
teach, lead conferences or consult on a variety of topics.

For Everyone
- Focus on WMU Speakers
Speak with enthusiasm and excitement
about WMU primarily during WMU Focus Week activities in churches and associations.

Alabama WMU Day of Prayer Speakers
Speak and/or lead a learning
session about the current Day of Prayer emphasis and ministries of the KMMO for churches
and associations.
- Missions Motivational Speakers
Speak at events about missions,
ministries of Alabama WMU, and/or WMU is such a way that will motivate listeners to want
to be involved in missions locally and globally.
- International and North American Mission Study
Teachers
Train others in how to lead the mission
studies and/or lead the mission studies for churches and associations.
- Spiritual Growth Retreat Leaders
Lead retreats, seminars and conferences
for churches and associations related to spiritual growth that leads to a missions
lifestyle.

Speak about and promote WorldSong
for individuals, small groups, churches and organizations

Lead conferences, retreats and seminars
on Witnessing for Women
Leader Enrichment
- Associational WMU Leadership Team Consultants
Equip and encourage associational WMU
leadership teams to fulfill their missions task by assisting them with (1) assessing the
needs in their association, (2) customizing their leadership team to meet those needs, (3)
annual and long range planning, (4) strengthening existing WMU work, and (5) beginning a
new WMU work.
